Mohamed Soumare

Mohamed K. F. Soumare graduated from Florida A&M University with a Masters Degree on Friday, December 13, 2002. Mohamed defended his masters thesis, entitled: Predation by Mesocyclops longisetus [Thiebaud] (Crustacea: Copepoda) on Container-Inhabiting Mosquito (Diptera: Culicidae) Larvae under Laboratory and Field Conditions” on November 9, 2002. Dr. James Cilek was Mohamed’s Major Professor and thesis advisor. Mohamed will continue working at PHEREC until February 2003. Mohamed’s plans for the future include continued work/study in biological control with Dr. Jesusa Legaspi, USDA/ARS at FAMU for about six months and then beginning a doctoral program in entomology at either FAMU or the University of Florida.
