Thursday, September 19, 2002, was “College Night” at Gulf Coast Community College (GCCC).  Several hundred prospective students met with representatives from regional colleges and universities and CESTA was there!

      Drs. Zhong and Petersen set up the PHEREC exhibit displaying the Center’s outreach materials, including EntGuides. We were fortunate that Mr. Donald J. Moore, Coordinator of Student Affairs, FAMU, was present representing the main campus. About 25 prospective students completed information cards that have been forwarded to the university.  Recruiting events like the one at GCCC are an important part of PHEREC’s outreach effort.
