The Southeast Regional Public Health Pest and Vector Management Conference was a
great success. More than 75 people participated, representing Florida, Georgia, Alabama
and Kentucky. The Department of Defense was represented this year by public health
personnel from Tyndall AFB. Continuing education units (CEU’s) or recertification
credits were earned in six categories from seven different governmental agencies. Next
year’s Conference, scheduled for January 16-18, 2002, is already being planned. If
